LIVE MUSIC at GRAVEL REVIVAL

The trails aren’t the only thing rocking this October — we’ve got two nights of incredible live music lined up! Since Gravel Revival started, we have had the pleasure of hosting some of Middle Tennessee's TOP musicians at Gravel Revival - and we feel so fortunate to continue that tradition year after year!

FRIDAY 10/17
This year, we welcome Corey King on Friday night from 5:30 - 8:30pm.

Corey King is a singer/songwriter from Akron, OH, now based in Nashville, TN. He’s been writing and performing for over a decade, most notably as the frontman of The Ohio Weather Band. The band has released three full-length albums and an EP, and has shared stages with artists like Bon Jovi, Sammy Hagar, Sierra Ferrell, Charley Crockett, Collective Soul, the Felice Brothers, and more. OWB has toured throughout the U.S., playing venues like the CLIF Bar Headquarters in Oakland (CA), The Bluebird Cafe, The Analog (Nashville), the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena.

Since relocating to Nashville, Corey has been focused on solo work. He’s currently writing his debut solo record and performing throughout Tennessee and beyond.

SATURDAY 10/18
This year, we welcome Highway Natives on Saturday night from 5:00 - 9:00pm.

Based in Nashville, TN, Highway Natives embodies a roots-rock ethos infused with a retro ‘70s vibe and a robust country-rock edge, evoking echoes of the “early Allman Brothers, The Black Crowes, and the fictional band Stillwater from Almost Famous,” (Medium). Comprising Brandon Moore, Jordan Miller, Matt Drummey, and Andrew Cusanelli, their sound is characterized by intricate harmonies, rich guitar textures, and a rhythm section thats groovy timekeeping is nestled tightly beneath heartfelt, authentic lyrics shared between the two lead singers. At their live shows, they are not just about delivering polished renditions but also about spontaneous, improvised jamming sessions that allow them to explore new musical territories and connect with their listeners on a visceral level.

After successfully crowdfunding their debut full-length album, "West of the Blindside," released in spring 2022. The LP quickly outperformed its predecessor, propelling Highway Natives to open for acts like The Red Clay Strays, Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown, and Sundy Best, feature in showcases like Whiskey Jam, and headline sold-out shows at venues such as The Bluebird Cafe and The Basement in Nashville, TN.

In summer 2023, they set their sights to FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL, to record their latest album "Hello Sunrise" that was released in August 2nd, 2024.

Pack your camp chair, grab a drink, and get ready for two evenings of music under the October Tennessee stars!
