Get ready to rumble.
The 1st annual Hammer Drop at Henry Horton, sponsored by MOAB Bike Shop, is a one-day 

Mountain Bike Race + Festival for all ages on Saturday, July 13, 2024, in Chapel Hill, TN. 

This scenic trail system is managed by the Tennessee State Park Rangers and local volunteers. 

They have a tough network of fun, fast, flowy and challenging trails that you would expect 
from a course nestled in Middle Tennessee.

This event will include a unique and challenging trail, prizes and some cool swag. 

Come out and RACE or just come spectate!  
Plus the entire family can enjoy camping, food trucks, beverages,
vendors and plethora of activities at the Duck River Outdoor Expo (Friday-Sunday)!

Thursday (7/11):
11AM-6PM: Packet Pick-up at MOAB Bike Shop (Franklin)


Friday (7/12):
Online registration closes at 9PM. 


Saturday (7/13)
7AM-12PM: Packet Pick-up/Registration (onsite) + Snacks/Coffee
*Pre-ride announcements will occur 10 minutes before start of each race. 

Race Start Times:
8:00AM - BEGINNER (CAT 3) - 2 laps, 12 miles
9:30AM - JUNIORS (11-17) - 1 lap, 6 miles, KIDS COURSE (4-10) - <1 mile
10:30AM - PRO/ELITE, EXPERT (CAT 1) - 4 laps, 24 miles
12:30PM - SPORT (CAT 2) - 4 laps, 24 miles
1:00PM - E-BIKE - 3 laps, 18 miles

RULES/LICENSES
This is a USA Cycling-sanctioned event- all USAC rules apply. 

A USA Cycling (USAC) annual or one-day license is required. Read up on USAC one-day licenses HERE.

Please go to usacycling.org and renew/buy your annual license now (valid for one year). 

Use code TEAM24 at checkout for $10 off the annual license. If you are on auto-renew, 
you can disable that feature to take advantage of the discount. 
Use code INTROMEMB24 for a $49 RACE license valid for first-time members ONLY!

One-day licenses for Category 3 (Beginner One-Day) are $15 
and may be purchased through BikeReg during race registration.
One-day licenses for Pro, Category 1, and Category 2 (Experienced One-Day) are $35.
Available for purchase through BikeReg during race registration, 

or they can be purchased through this event-specific USA Cycling website.
All pre-registration is to be completed online at BikeReg.com/hammerdrop24.
Online registration closes at 9 p.m. CST on Friday, July 12

Emails to pre-register will not be accepted. 

Participants MUST provide proof of a valid 2024 USA Cycling Annual license OR 

purchase a one-day license during registration (details here). 
Racers categorized in the USA Cycling Endurance discipline as “Pro” must race in the Pro/Cat 1 Open group.
We WILL NOT process license renewals or new sales at the event; 

please take care of this before arriving at the race venue. 
*Note: we are unable to offer refunds for this event after June 1, 2024.

Podium awards/prizes will be presented as races are completed.

SPECTATORS/VOLUNTEERS
If you do not plan to ride, please register as a Volunteer or Spectator. 

We recommend bringing camp chairs, rain gear (if necessary), bug spray, sunscreen, cowbells, etc.

Hub Youth Cycling

We're excited to partner with Hub Youth Cycling  on this all-ages event! 

Hub Youth Cycling's purpose is to positively impact the lives of youth by promoting health, service, and education...one ride at a time. HYC is not a race organization, but rather a community of youth, coaches, and volunteers who are joined together by a love of bicycling. Their goal is to provide a year-round opportunity for youth development with regular coach-led bike rides, supported bike event participation, structured community service projects, and meaningful educational experiences.
