secluded Group campsites (a total of 20) are available to reserve on the registration site.
Each site can fit a minimum 4 tents (some more) and has a designated picnic table and fire pit.
The base price for a group campsite is $40 (4 people). *Note: One person will have to reserve the
group campsite of choice and will be asked during registration how many people TOTAL will be at
the campsite, and to provide their names. Those that are joining you at the group campsite will not
have to pay individually for camping. (We have included a map of the entire campground on the
registration page to provide an idea of where the group campsites are.) We encourage everyone to
bring your own camping gear and accessories. These group sites are great for groups of friends/family
that want to camp together. There will be a bathroom/shower trailer and port-a-potties onsite.
For the “glampers” - a limited number of small RV’s will be allowed but there will not be any
hook-ups. The Peaceful Hills Cottage and Cabin are also available to rent out for the weekend
(minimum 2-night stay). The Cottage sleeps 6 people and costs $450 for 2 nights. The Cabin sleeps 10
people and costs $650 for 2 nights. One person will need to pay for the cabin or cottage. All lodging
has climate control and full bathrooms. These are great for big groups that are attending together!
Contact email@example.com with any questions on camping/lodging.
*Please note: we are unable to offer refunds for lodging after August 22, 2022.
If you’ve ridden in Hickman County you know that routes are subject to change based on the road
conditions. We will not be revealing the exact routes until closer to the event. With whatever route
you choose you can expect to encounter a variety of gravel and terrain – from well-groomed gravel
to rutted out jeep trails; fast descents, inevitable creek crossings, and punch-you-in-the-gut climbs.
Some of that chert will make you hurt, but the post-ride meal and beverage (and Strava kudos) will
be worth it. Riders on the 27 and 40 mile routes can expect one aid station and the 60 mile route can
expect two aid stations. There will also be SAG support on the longer routes.
60 mile route: coming soon
40 mile route: coming soon
27 mile route: coming soon
11 mile route: coming soon
25 mile casual waterfall/winery route: coming soon
*IMPORTANT: This ride is self-navigated, and the route is unmarked. All riders are asked to bring a GPS unit
or whatever tools necessary to navigate the course. As Gravel riding becomes more and more popular, it is
important for riders to learn proper skills to navigate and ride self-supported, especially in secluded areas
where a GPS signal may or may not be available. Cell phone signal has become increasingly better in Hickman
County, however if you are not using a navigation unit with GPS, we strongly recommend that you download
the Ride with GPS app, create an account, save and download the routes BEFORE you get to the campground
(just tap the dots to the right of the route name).
Cash Prizes will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place male/female finishers on the 60 Mile Race/Ride Route.
Grand Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place male/female finishers on the 40 mile route. Medals
will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place male/female youth finishers on the 27 and 11 mile routes.
Additionally, all registered participants will receive a door prize ticket in their event bag and will be eligible to
win some great door prizes from our Bike Retailers and Sponsors!
If you have friends/family members that want to join you but don’t want to ride, they are welcome to register
as a non-participant. Hiking trails, a playground and plenty of space to run around and play games are available.
Well-behaved dogs on leashes will be allowed. (No pets allowed in cabin or cottage). We do ask that you
PLEASE clean up after your dog. Proper/safe arrangements must be made for your pooch while you are out
riding. We recommend bringing camp chairs, rain gear, bug spray, sunscreen, etc.
Whether you are a beginner and ready to see what this Gravel riding is all about or looking for a way to
have fun and really challenge yourself - we have something for everyone. This year's event will be limited to
300 participants. We sold out last year and we anticipate we will again. Register early - we certainly don’t want
you to miss out on this one-of-a-kind event!
*Please note: we are unable to offer refunds for this event after August 22, 2022.
